Minister of Music Bio

Stewart Brewer has always been musically inclined and was inspired by the late Leonard Bell. He started playing at his home church Ebenezer Baptist Church in Knoblick at the age of nine where he played from 1982 until 1992. During this same time, he played at Owens Chapel Baptist Church in Cave City from 1984 - 1992. He also helped out various groups such as the Liberty District Choir, Children of God, Angelic Chimes and the The Gospel Messenger.

He traveled to Louisville KY and stayed from 1992 until 2007 where he played at various churches such as Galilee Baptist Church, Corinthian Baptist Church, Trinity Baptist Church, Cable Baptist Church and King Solomon Baptist Church. He finally gave up traveling the road and sought a position of minister of music at State Street Baptist Church under the direction of Pastor Freddie Brown. Stewart is happy to be at State Street Baptist Church with his wife Shannon, son Courtland and daughter Dominique. He invites you to come join State Street in its endeavors to carry out God's work.
